Chase-top Installation JavaScript must be enabled to view images. The chase-top is the metal lid that goes over the chimney chase which closes it up from the elements (often found on pre-fabricated chimneys or fireplaces). In most cases when they are installed by builders they will be made of galvanize sheet metal. Overtime they rust out and allow water to come in to the chase which can damage the fireplace and the drywall in the house. When we install new chase-tops they are custom made to fit the chase and are made of stainless steel or copper. Back to the top

Chimney Crown Repair & Replacement JavaScript must be enabled to view images. The crown is the layer of cement sitting on top of the last row of brick. Its purpose is to shed water away from the chimney. It’s normally 2 – 3 inches thick and starts high at the flue tile then slopes down to the edge of the bricks. Because the cement is porous it allows water to penetrate and will eventually crack when the freezing weather begins. Back to the top

Wood Stove Insert Installation With Cultured Stone JavaScript must be enabled to view images. This is an I1200S (Regency) insert install. We raised the hearth and the mantel to meet the required clearances for the insert, at the same time giving it a more attractive appearance. We installed cultured stone around the raised hearth and around the faceplate of the insert. We installed a stainless steel liner which was wrapped with insulation directly onto the insert. Lastly, we installed a new stainless steel chase-top and cap. Customer comments: All Pro was great. During the estimate process Dennis was careful, methodical & open to our concerns. His knowledge & expertise were invaluable. If he did not know the answer, he researched it (eg w/ stove mfc) & got back to me. He strictly followed the codes & explained them to us. He also threw out ideas to propose an atheistic look within our budget and didn't propose extra work that was not needed. The work went well too. A supplier provided the wrong stone & he checked with us before continuing. He did great work. The installation looks great. They protected our carpet cleaned up at the end of the 2-day job. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Back to the top
